13 years.  Peace, quiet, clean air and water and a large studio space for my artist husband.

Three cats we rescued. They think they own us.

Leaving for a vacation in summer, imagining they can “run” to the store if they forget something and missing sunrises.

What are some lessons you’ve learned?

Wear a scarf, swim early and often, stoke the fire before bed.

What advice would you give someone interested in moving upstate?

Be vigilant in protecting our water.

What keeps you here?

The inspiration and vitality my husband I experience every day.  And, the blueberries.
